I don’t want to start this “About me” section with writing that I’m a wife, mother of four and most importantly a Christian. There are so many layers to “Ana”. So, where do I begin? Do I start with where I was born? I was born on a military base in Zaragoza, Spain. Getting a post-secondary education has been a loooong process, but I am glad to say that I have an Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies under my belt. Currently, I am in the process of finishing my degree in Sociology.
I met my beloved husband at work almost ten years ago. My oldest two boys are from a previous relationship. Our daughter is spitting image of my husband with thick, long curly hair. Our youngest is another boy who also looks like his daddy’s twin. Actually, the only kid who looks like me is the second oldest.
My Christian faith has become a way of life for me. I was a baby Christian from the time I got saved eons ago until 2013. Now, you might think that was an extended period of time to remain a baby Christian, Your second thought is possibly, what caused my faith to grow? My marriage was on the brink of being destroyed, buried, annihilated, obliterated… But God, He was the one I ran to during the time of our marriage crisis. It was through this almost tragic moment in my life, that my relationship with the Lord above was no longer superficial.
Why did I begin this blog? Well, I started blogging in 2012 when I was a stay at home mom (before my marriage almost ended in divorce). But here’s the thing, I was blogging just to say that I was blogging. My motives were all wrong for popularity and for financial gain. Fast forward to 2016, God called me to write. He continued to tell me to write. So, here I am, being obedient to what He called me to. My prayer is that He gets all the Glory. My hope for this blog is that you, as a reader will be encouraged and equipped with biblical advice (sprinkled with my own two cents) on this faith walk whether you are a wife, soon to be wife, mom, seasoned mom or soon to be mom, or a young woman.
This blog is for all Christian women no matter where you are in your faith.
