I hope and pray this post finds you well. I want to share something I learned back in 2013. I grew up in the Christian faith. However, I was not taught how to pray, what prayer looked like or various types of praying. As believers, whether seasoned or new, it is imperative for us to realize the impact and benefit of praying God’s word.
Isaiah 55:11 reads
“so is my word that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” NIV
As I read my word, a special verse will stick out to me that may be related to my beloved husband, one or all of our children,or my circumstance. It may be a time when we are at a loss for words. We find ourselves struggling with what to pray or how to pray, This is where pulling out the Holy Bible will guide us. We can rest in believing that God’s word will not return void (empty).
What biblical, moral and/or sound characteristics do you desire for yourself, husband, children or loved ones? Pray His word, personalize the prayers.
Because I love you, I must emphasize this point. God hears our prayers. This is a truth. We must wait on His Perfect timing; not ours to answer our prayers.
Although short, I pray this post is helpful!
